About Founder
Mr. Vikas Khandelwal is an experienced investment professional with expertise in evaluating and executing investment opportunities in the consumer and retail sectors. With nearly 15 years of experience, he has worked with large global corporations and advised clients on M&A and capital markets transactions globally.
Mr. Khandelwal has completed his tenure as an Investment Associate at unybrands, where he evaluated various online consumer brands that sell through Amazon FBA and/or Shopify platforms, and led due diligence processes and integration efforts for new acquisitions. He also developed growth strategies for acquired brands and monitored their performance post-acquisition.
Prior to his role at unybrands, Mr. Khandelwal was an Investment Banking Associate at Bank of America, where he managed a team of offshore analysts and worked in the Consumer and Retail sector. He worked with colleagues globally to advise clients on M&A and capital markets transactions. He was responsible for preparing PitchBooks, mentoring new analysts, and conducting training sessions on accounting concepts and valuation methods. Mr. Khandelwal was deeply involved in various M&A and IPO transactions done by large companies and private equity firms globally.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Khandelwal worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Verity Knowledge Solutions (a UBS Affiliate), where he gained experience in financial analysis and modelling in the Global Industrials sector.
In addition to his work in finance, Mr. Khandelwal is also involved in an NGO. He, along with his wife, runs Pehal Sanstha, which operates out of India and works towards the betterment of society. The NGO primarily focuses on education for underprivileged children, providing nearly 100 children with basic primary education and vocational training, as well as one-time nutritional meals.
Mr. Khandelwal holds an MBA in Finance from SCMHRD, Pune (Symbiosis International University), a B-Tech in Electronics and Communication, and is a CFA Charter holder and holds FRM (GARP) designation.
